Who will provide my care?
Your care will be provided by a nurse practitioner (NP) who is board certified in women’s health.
Will I see a provider in person?
No, Artemis Health Co. provides care via telemedicine only. No in-person appointments are available.
How much does it cost?
There is a charge of $50 for most visits.
Do you accept insurance?
No, we are a cash-pay service only. However, our fees are similar to a typical insurance co-pay. Credit cards can be used to make payments via the patient portal.
What do I need to do to get ready for my appointment?
Once your appointment is scheduled, you will receive an email with instructions how to access your appointment and to fill out your patient intake paperwork. Please make sure to have this complete before your appointment. You will also receive a text message with a link to download the app you’ll use for your video visit. Everything is handled electronically through the Kareo (our electronic medical record) patient platform. You will also receive a text and an email regarding your payment – please plan to pay this electronically via the patient portal at the time of your visit.
How does billing work?
Artemis Health Co. does not accept insurance and the patient is responsible for the payment at the time of your visit. Payments are processed through the online patient portal. You will receive both a text and email alert to set up your payment. Artemis Health Co. is unable to accept cash or check.
What if I need a prescription?
Prescriptions will be sent electronically to a pharmacy of your choice. GoodRx is a helpful resource to help make prescriptions more affordable.
What if I need lab work?
Labs can be ordered, as needed. If you need labs, you can go to a lab location of your choice, such as LabCorp or Sonora Quest. Getlabs is a service that can come to you, either at your home or workplace, to collect blood and/or urine samples. There is a small convenience fee for using this service that will be billed to you through their platform and you must schedule the appointment on their website. Using this service, your labs are still processed by LabCorp, Sonora Quest, or LabXpress. Either way, you should make sure to provide the lab with your insurance information, if applicable. Patients are responsible for lab charges and they are not included in the payment you make to Artemis Health Co. at the time of your appointment.
What if I need to be seen in-person?
If we determine that your care would be best provided in-person, then we would refer you to a traditional OB/GYN office or other type of practice, depending on your need.
What if I have an urgent question or concern?
If you have a medical emergency, please call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room. Artemis Health Co. is not available after hours and messages are returned within 1-2 business days. If you are an existing patient and have a non-emergency question/concern, please set up a visit or send us a message using the patient portal. If you are not yet a patient of Artemis Health Co., please feel free to set up an appointment and we will be happy to help.
